At Next Gen Youth Employment, we are proud to celebrate Peter’s progress on his employment journey.

Since joining Next Gen Youth Employment, Peter has been working closely with Youth Coach Fatima to build his confidence, develop workplace skills, and gain valuable employment experience. Together, they explored opportunities within the local community, with Fatima reaching out to a number of businesses to find the right placement where Peter could build his capacity and demonstrate his strengths.

One of those opportunities came through the amazing support of Woolworths Greensborough. Store Manager Matt Sorell warmly welcomed Peter into the team, offering him the chance to complete a work experience placement in-store. This opportunity has allowed Peter to gain hands-on retail experience, develop practical workplace skills, and increase his confidence in a real employment environment.

Partnerships like these make a real difference and help participants take positive steps towards sustainable employment.
